About the Artist Growing up in Minnesota with a blind mom and color blind dad, Robin had the freedom to wildly experiment with color and texture. Having defined art at a young age as something that needs to be both visual and tactile, she transitioned into the world of mosaics after painting for many years.
As an artist, Robin is inspired by nature and makes mosaics come to life with color, organic patterns, and reflected light using glass marbles, ceramic tile, or stone. Sometimes representational and sometimes abstract, she create art that enlivens public and private spaces.
From garden to gates, bridges to backyards, neighborhoods to niches, Robin believe there is always room for more art.
Her work was featured in the April 2008 edition of Phoenix Home & Garden magazine.
She lives and works in Tucson, Arizona.
